General Policies

Appointments

We see all patients on an appointment basis and ask that you call in advance so that we may schedule you. We understand your time is valuable and make every effort to see all patients on time. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us 24 hours’ in advance so that the time may be given to another patient. We reserve the right to charge for appointments canceled or broken. Office hours can vary, due to weather and holidays, please refer to our Facebook page for any updates on office closures.

New PATIENTS and referrals

We are currently accepting new patients. Our practice is unique in that our patient base is and has been almost exclusively based on word-of-mouth referrals for over 30 years and we are excited to keep that going. We treat many members of the same family and most of our incredible patients are referred by friends and family members.

Emergency Care

We recognize that emergency situations do arise. If you are experiencing a dental emergency after hours, our office number has Dr. Roeder’s cell phone number on the voicemail. Please leave a brief message with your name, best number to reach you and your dental concern and we will return your call as soon as we can.

Fees, Payments, and insurance

Payment is expected at time of service. If your treatment plan requires several visits, we can provide you with an estimate and the opportunity to make financial arrangements with a member of our front office. Dental insurance is intended to cover some, but not all of the cost of your dental care. Most plans include a co-payment, deductible and other expenses. We will make every effort to answer any questions you may have and make accurate estimates regarding your insurance. However, it is ultimately the patient’s responsibility to know their coverage.

Cancellation POLICY

We ask that you give our office a minimum of 48 hours in the event that you need to reschedule.

This will allow ample time to schedule other patients who may be waiting on their next appointment. Any appointment cancelled less than 24 hours before is to be considered a missed, or failed, appointment. At that point there will be a fee of $20.00 charged to your account. This fee cannot be billed to insurance and will become your direct patient responsibility. From the time this fee is applied to your account, one must pay the account balance before future appointments can be scheduled.

As an office, we will be taking more steps to avoid utilizing this cancellation policy. We have started using a texting service that will send appointment reminders and when able our office will be confirming appointments 1 week in advance. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please let our staff know and we will be glad to clarify any questions you have.

We thank you for your continued support!
